About us

USP

With our well-equipped facilities and vastly experienced technical staff Bay Photonics make your Photonic IC (PIC) and micro-electronic projects become a reality with our open and innovative design and assembly capability.

Value proposition

Bay Photonics are an independent, flexible design and build facility offering reduced time to market, reduced technical risk, reduced product development cost solution for projects that the customer finds difficult to gain support for due to low volume, degree of technical difficulty, broad engineering knowhow required and restricted access to assembly capability.

We specialise in helping build prototypes that require a flexible and technically innovative approach to assembly and test.

Having worked at world leading Opto-electronic suppliers our technical team have vast experience in developing the right packaging and production solution.

Located in the South West of the UK,  with main office at the Brixham Laboratory complex (in partnership with Plymouth University) we are housed with other members of the Torbay Photonics Cluster ecosystem that offer an extended expertise and capability.
