Bay Photonics celebrate 10 year anniversary

Bay Photonics are pleased to announce they have reached their 10 year anniversary.

Having been started by Glenn George and Larry Clarke after the demise of Bookham Technologies in Torbay, the business has had different locations and a name change, but the direction of wanting to support the manufacture of photonics devices has always been the goal.

Glenn commented “These 10 years have just flown by. It is fantastic that we have survived and grown a business model that is somewhat unique. I would like to thank our customers that have been loyal to us and have helped in our success”

Glenn went on to say “Having started working from our homes to now having prestigious office and assembly facilities at Brixham Laboratory and in Paignton, Larry and I have come a long way in terms of offering the service that makes the best use of the knowledge we gained working for all those years at Nortel and then Bookham. We continue to expand our work-force and capability as our business increases and look forward to continued growth with our current and future partners”.
